Softball Recap: Bel Air Comes Up Short

Bel Air lost against Hanks back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Highlanders fell just short of the Knights by a score of 8-7. The Highlanders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sai Salazar was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

Bel Air's loss dropped their record down to 5-22. As for Hanks, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 14-10-1 record.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bel Air will take on rival Del Valle at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Hanks is set to square off against their familiar foe Horizon at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
