Soccer Recap: Gaffney Comes Up Short

Gaffney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the James F. Byrnes Rebels. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 6-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Gaffney's loss dropped their record down to 1-5-1. As for James F. Byrnes, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gaffney will square off against Boiling Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for James F. Byrnes, they will face off against Dorman at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
