Recap: Orestimba Warriors vs. Waterford Wildcats
In what's become a running theme this season, the Orestimba Warriors gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 79-30 win over Waterford. The win was familiar territory for Orestimba who now have 16 in a row.
Orestimba got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Caleb Marin dominguez out in front who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Melo, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and six assists.
Orestimba's win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.9 points per game. As for Waterford, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Orestimba will take on Delhi at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Waterford, they will be playing at home against Le Grand at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Le Grand is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
