Volleyball Recap: Beyer Beats Grace Davis for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Beyer had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Grace Davis Spartans. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Patriots also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

The win didn't come easy: Grace Davis scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-20, 25-21.

Brett Bird paced Beyer's offense, picking up 15 kills. Bird got some help from Jordan Sao Rodriguez and his 19 assists. Sao Rodriguez was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Beyer's victory bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Grace Davis, they dropped their record down to 3-9 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Beyer will head out to face off against Lathrop at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Spartans will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Patriots surely won't give up without a fight. As for Grace Davis, they will challenge Johansen at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Spartans are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
