Volleyball Recap: Twin Loup Takes a Loss

Twin Loup lost against South Loup back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wolves took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of South Loup. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Twin Loup had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-20.

Jaelynn Blackburn paced Twin Loup's offense, picking up 12 kills. Blackburn got some help from LoReena Schauda and her eight assists.

Twin Loup's loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for South Loup, the win snapped their losing streak at six matches and leaves them with a 3-14 record.

Coincidentally, Twin Loup and South Loup will both be playing Sandhills Valley the next time they take the court. The Wolves will head out to face the Mavericks at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while South Loup will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
