Virgin Valley entered their tilt with Pahrump Valley on Wednesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Trojans 3-0. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bulldogs yet this season.

While Virgin Valley won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-16, 25-23.

Hayden Owsley paced Virgin Valley's offense, picking up eight kills. Owsley got some help from Mayzie Tobler and her 18 assists. Mady Wright and Kinley Hughes kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

Virgin Valley now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Pahrump Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.
