Basketball Recap: Mansfield Timberview Takes a Loss

Mansfield Timberview was the 65-57 winner over Joshua when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Mansfield Timberview Wolves fell to the Joshua Owls 46-40.

Loss or not, Mansfield Timberview got some senior leadership from Kyndal Underwood and Viola Tadja. Underwood posted 14 points, while Tadja put up eight points and eight rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Underwood has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Dani Milliner, who scored eight points and six boards.

Mansfield Timberview's defeat dropped their record down to 17-13. As for Joshua, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-14.

Mansfield Timberview will venture away from home to square off against Burleson at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Mansfield Timberview is facing Burleson at the right time seeing as Burleson is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Joshua has already played their next matchup (against Cleburne), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
