Softball Recap: Tupelo Takes a Loss

Tupelo lost against Nettleton back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tupelo Golden Wave fell just short of the Nettleton Tigers by a score of 6-5. The Golden Wave just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Tupelo's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Nettleton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-1-2 record this season.

Tupelo will host Ripley at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Tupelo is facing Ripley at the right time seeing as Ripley is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Nettleton, they will challenge East Union at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
