Volleyball Game Preview: Mandeville Skippers vs. Chalmette Owls + How To Watch

The Mandeville Skippers will take on the Chalmette Owls at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mandeville is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

On Thursday, Mandeville came up short against Northlake Christian and fell 3-1.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Northlake Christian scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 23-25, 25-19, 25-17.

Despite the defeat, Mandeville got top-tier performance from Alyssa Gaudet, who had 20 digs and two aces. With that strong performance, Gaudet is now averaging an impressive 10.2 digs per game. Another player making a difference was Kinsley Windom, who had 11 digs.

Meanwhile, Chalmette got the win against Pearl River on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0. The Owls haven't had any issues with the Rebels recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Chalmette's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Mandeville, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.

Everything went Mandeville's way against Chalmette in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Mandeville made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Skippers repeat their success, or do the Owls have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
