Softball Preview: Manteo Redskins vs. Gates County Red Barons

On Tuesday, everything went Manteo's way against Northeastern as Manteo made off with a 16-1 victory. With that win, Manteo brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Bailey Dickerson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Dickerson has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive pitching appearances. Dickerson was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.
