Rockland had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the three-goal drubbing they dealt Hull on Monday. The Bulldogs' defense stepped up to hand the Pirates a 3-0 shutout. Rockland might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by three goals or more this season.

The win (which was Rockland's fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-3. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those four matches. As for Hull, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5-1.
