Volleyball Game Preview: Owendale-Gagetown Bulldogs vs. Akron-Fairgrove Vikings

The Owendale-Gagetown Bulldogs will venture away from home to take on the Akron-Fairgrove Vikings at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Owendale-Gagetown is coming into the contest hot, having won their last nine games.

Owendale-Gagetown barely beat Mayville the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bulldogs blew past the Wildcats 3-0 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Akron-Fairgrove came up short against Ashley on Thursday and fell 3-1.

Owendale-Gagetown's win bumped their record up to 13-4-1. As for Akron-Fairgrove, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7-2.

Owendale-Gagetown was able to grind out a solid victory over Akron-Fairgrove in their previous matchup back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
