Basketball Game Preview: Effingham County Rebels vs. Greenbrier Wolfpack

The Effingham County Rebels will venture away from home to face off against the Greenbrier Wolfpack at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Effingham County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Effingham County is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They managed a 63-59 win over South Effingham on Wednesday.

Effingham County got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kyjana Jordan out in front who posted 18 points. Jordan's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 18 points. Nakera M Hawkins was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Meanwhile, Greenbrier came up short against Lakeside on Friday and fell 54-47.

Greenbrier's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Effingham County, their win bumped their record up to 2-18.

Effingham County came up short against Greenbrier in their previous matchup last Friday, falling 51-44. Can Effingham County avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
