Basketball Game Preview: Brookwood Broncos vs. Parkview Panthers

Brookwood is 2-8 against Parkview since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Brookwood Broncos will be playing at home against the Parkview Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Brookwood will be strutting in after a win while Parkview will be coming in after a defeat.

Brookwood took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 64-53 victory over Berkmar.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Parkview duked it out withDuluth on Tuesday. Parkview lost to Duluth at home by a 60-41 margin. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 372nd, while the Wildcats are ranked 112th).

Brookwood pushed their record up to 7-12 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Parkview, their loss dropped their record down to 3-16.

Brookwood strolled past Parkview in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a score of 78-63. Does Brookwood have another victory up their sleeve, or will Parkview turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
