Volleyball Recap: Affton Comes Up Short

Affton lost against Webster Groves back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cougars came up short against the Statesmen, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-16, 25-13.

Elli Casey paced Affton's offense, picking up six kills. Casey got some help from Lydia Hausman and her 11 assists.

Affton's loss dropped their record down to 10-12-1. As for Webster Groves, their victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 11-16-1.

Coming up, Affton will welcome Hazelwood Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Webster Groves, they will square off against Windsor at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
