Taylor Allderdice is a perfect 6-0 against Obama Academy of International Studies since March of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. Taylor Allderdice fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Carrick on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 4-3. The Dragons' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Braelyn Altman spent all 7.1 innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Gracie Whitt was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Arieyanna Massie also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen bases of the season.

Meanwhile, Obama Academy of International Studies lost 19-2 to Carrick on Tuesday.

Obama Academy of International Studies saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mary Martyn, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Taylor Allderdice's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 8-3. As for Obama Academy of International Studies, their record now sits at 0-2.

Taylor Allderdice took their victory against Obama Academy of International Studies when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 15-5 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dragons since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
