Wapsie Valley lost against Grundy Center back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Warriors took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spartans. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Taylor Buhr paced Wapsie Valley's offense, picking up nine kills. Buhr got some help from Tessa Brunscheon and her 13 assists. Finally, Claire O'Donnell kept Wapsie Valley's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Wapsie Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Grundy Center, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-1.

Wapsie Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Jesup on the 16th. Grundy Center has also already played their next contest (against Aplington-Parkersburg), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
