Basketball Recap: Episcopal Comes Up Short

Episcopal played a tough matchup on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 102-46 loss at the hands of the St. Francis Episcopal Wolves. The Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 52-18.

Nigel Walls was his usual excellent self, going 11 of 15 on his way to 28 points in addition to seven boards and three steals for St. Francis Episcopal. That's the most points Walls has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Hodge, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 boards.

Episcopal's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for St. Francis Episcopal, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Episcopal won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Lee at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Francis Episcopal, they will square off against Lancaster at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. St. Francis Episcopal is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.2 points per game this season.
