Illinois Valley Central came out on top against Midland on Friday thanks in part to Madeline Bazyn's efforts. Bazyn produced her best game of the campaign: she scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. She also put up a triple, which was her first of the season.

Coming up, Bazyn and Illinois Valley Central will face off against St. Joseph-Ogden at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
