Volleyball Recap: Vista Comes Up Short

Vista was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the La Costa Canyon Mavericks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Vista's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for La Costa Canyon, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Vista will square off against Escondido Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for La Costa Canyon, they will challenge La Jolla at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
