Rossville entered their tilt with Eastern on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 58-56 win over the Eastern Comets. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hornets also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Rossville found their leader in sophomore Brayden Thiele-Hahn, who shot 6-for-10 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 31 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Cooper Dunn, who posted seven points and five boards.

Rossville is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Eastern, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.

Rossville will welcome Fountain Central at 2:30 p.m. on February 8th. Eastern has already played their next game, a 46-34 victory against Wabash on the 1st.
