Volleyball Recap: McMichael Find Success

McMichael posted their closest win since August 20th on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Mountain Island Charter Raptors 2-1.

Eva Lockhart paced McMichael's offense, picking up 11 kills. Lockhart got some help from Zoey Bradford and her 17 assists.

McMichael is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. As for Mountain Island Charter, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-9 record this season.

McMichael has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Ayden - Grifton on the 27th. As for Mountain Island Charter, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against South Point on the 27th.
