Volleyball Recap: First Baptist Takes a Loss

First Baptist was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Ovilla Christian Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on October 2nd.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-14, 25-14.

First Baptist's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Ovilla Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 20 of their last 21 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-3-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. First Baptist will square off against Rosehill Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ovilla Christian, they will take on Cambridge at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
