Lincoln Christian waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Cornerstone Christian School Cougars with a sharp 61-36 win. Given the Crusaders' advantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 53rd, while the Cougars are ranked 229th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lincoln Christian pushed their record up to 13-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.7 points over those games. As for Cornerstone Christian School, their loss dropped their record down to 9-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln Christian will challenge Bishop Neumann at 7:30 p.m. on February 21st. As for Cornerstone Christian School, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Elmwood-Murdock at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
