Softball Recap: Hammond Central Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Hammond Central's offense. They came up short against the Hobart Brickies on Wednesday, falling 19-0. The Wolves were not able to make up for their loss to the Brickies from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Hammond Central has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Hobart, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-14.

Hammond Central wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 16-0 defeat against Griffith on the 22nd. Hobart does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
