Softball Recap: Wilcox Comes Up Short

If Wilcox was riding high fresh off their 17-1 takedown of Pioneer on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chargers took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mills Vikings on Friday.

Wilcox saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jesika Souza, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Wilcox now has a losing record of 1-2.

Wilcox didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 6-3 win against Live Oak on the 27th. As for Mills, they have also already played their next matchup, a 9-1 victory against Soquel on the 27th.
