After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Irvington, Kennedy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the American Eagles 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Titans: when they faced off against the Eagles back in March, they had to take a 3-1 loss.
Kennedy was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (96-90), but they still managed to win. The final score came out to 14-25, 11-25, 25-20, 25-16, 15-10.
Kennedy's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-21. As for American, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-7.
