Basketball Recap: Gilford Has No Trouble Against Conant

Gilford's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They took down the Conant Orioles 45-28. The win continues a trend for the Golden Eagles in their matchups with the Orioles: they've now won three in a row.

Gilford's victory bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Conant, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.

Looking ahead, Gilford will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Newfound Regional at 6:30 p.m. Gilford's defense has only allowed 29.8 points per game this season, so Newfound Regional's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Conant, they will venture away from home to challenge Fall Mountain at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Fall Mountain will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Conant surely won't give up without a fight.
