Softball Recap: Ridgemont Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Ridgemont waltzed into their game on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Perry Commodores 22-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Golden Gophers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2025.

Ella Manns was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with four stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those four stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Addison Coy was another key player, going 3-for-4 with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Ridgemont always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .591. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Ridgemont's victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Perry, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ridgemont will take on Ridgedale at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Golden Gophers are facing the Rockets at the right time seeing as the Rockets are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Perry, they will challenge McComb at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Commodores' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 12.9 runs per game this season.
