Recap: Sarasota Military Academy Eagles vs. Hollins Royals
The Sarasota Military Academy Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their eighth straight loss. They were dealt a 59-19 loss at the hands of Hollins. Sarasota Military Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-12.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hollins to victory, but perhaps none more so than Josh Castallani, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds. Malachi Miller was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Sarasota Military Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-12 record this season. As for Hollins, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-10.
Sarasota Military Academy will face off against the Thunder at TBD on Tuesday. As for Hollins, they will head out on the road to challenge the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lakeside Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 18 games -- so hopefully the Royals likes a good challenge.
