Volleyball Game Preview: Post Falls Trojans vs. Centennial Patriots

The Post Falls Trojans will be taking part in a tournament against the Centennial Patriots at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Post Falls took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Ferris with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Saxons: they've now won three in a row.

While Post Falls won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-21, 25-23.

Centennial not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since August 28th (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against Lake City as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Centennial's victory bumped their record up to 8-16. As for Post Falls, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.

Everything went Post Falls' way against Centennial in their previous meeting back in October of 2017, as Post Falls made off with a 3-0 victory. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Patriots turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
