Softball Recap: West Bend East Takes a Loss

West Bend East's last matchup with Port Washington could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Tuesday. The Suns lost 11-5 to the Pirates. The defeat continues a trend for the Suns in their meetings with the Pirates: they've now lost four in a row.

West Bend East's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Port Washington, they moved to 8-6 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Bend East will venture away from home to square off against Kettle Moraine Lutheran at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Port Washington, they will challenge Slinger at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
