Football Recap: Norcom Falls to Thomas Jefferson in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Norcom kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They received a blow as they fell 14-0 to the Thomas Jefferson Vikings. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Greyhounds couldn't quite close it out.

Thomas Jefferson's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Daeron Ferguson, who rushed for 100 yards and one TD on only 11 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Joseph Robertson Jr, who threw for 198 yards and one touchdown on only 13 passes.

Norcom has already played their next matchup, a 30-6 defeat against Petersburg on the 4th. As for Thomas Jefferson, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 21-14 loss against Armstrong (Kennedy) on the 8th.
