It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but McLean had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They walked away with a 69-56 victory over the Fort Elliott Cougars. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Leading McLean to victory were Collin Alston and Andrew Montoya. Alston went 7-for-17 on his way to 20 points in addition to eight boards and five assists, while Montoya went 6-for-15 en route to 23 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Alston has been hot for a while, having posted 15 or more points the last 15 times he's played. Jayvon Salazar was another key player, putting up eight points and 14 boards.

McLean's record now sits at 22-6. As for Fort Elliott, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.
