Byers entered their tilt with Pine Grove on Friday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 71-37 win over the Pine Grove Panthers. This was a revenge game for the Lions: when they faced off against the Panthers back in December of 2024, they had to take a 42-41 defeat.

Byers has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-10 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.5 points per game. As for Pine Grove, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 14-9.

Byers wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 56-44 defeat against Power Center Academy on the 25th. Pine Grove has also already played their next contest (against Ashland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
