Meanwhile, Eisenhower might've scored the first runs on Thursday, but it was Putnam City West who claimed the real prize. The Eagles came up short against the Patriots, falling 10-4.
Colten Anderson put in work while hitting and pitching. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in March. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run. That home run was his first of the season.
