Recap: East Webster Wolverines vs. Kossuth Aggies
With a playoff game on the line, the East Webster Wolverines rose to the challenge on Friday. They put the hurt on Kossuth with a sharp 33-10 victory. Considering East Webster has won seven matches by more than 22 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
It was another big night for Kaleb Warnock, who rushed for 140 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also threw for 80 yards and two touchdowns.
The win was the sixth in a row for East Webster, bringing their record for this year to 10-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 37.3 points per game. As for Kossuth, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-2.
East Webster will square off against Winona at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Winona's favor is that they have now posted big point totals every time they've taken the field this season. Kossuth does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
