Volleyball Recap: Vista PEAK Prep Comes Up Short

Vista PEAK Prep and Northfield squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Vista PEAK Prep had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Nighthawks. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Nighthawks this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss two weeks ago.

Vista PEAK Prep's offense was headlined by Sanaya Wyatt and Emily Peterson, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Ava Eltzroth and her 28 assists. Melinda Allred controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Vista PEAK Prep has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-9 record this season. As for Northfield, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Vista PEAK Prep nor Northfield have any future games scheduled.
