Baseball Recap: Marana Comes Up Short

Marana's last matchup with Tucson High Magnet School could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Tuesday. The Tigers came up short against the Badgers, falling 8-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Badgers: they've now lost six in a row.

Marana saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rilee Dewey, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Marana's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Tucson High Magnet School, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-9.

Coming up, Marana will head out to square off against Rincon/University at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers are facing the Rangers at the right time seeing as the Rangers are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Tucson High Magnet School, they will be playing at home against Sunnyside at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
