Lutheran North extended their winning streak to nine on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 11-1 in the process. They were the clear victors by a 21-7 margin over the St. Ursula Academy Arrows. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won eight matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Mikenna Campisi, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Leah Safran, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Lutheran North was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .611. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

As for St. Ursula Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. Their defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

On St. Ursula Academy's side, they got a big performance out of Sydney Schlachter, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Sydney Hoffman was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Looking ahead, Lutheran North will face off against Mercy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Ursula Academy, they will be playing at home against Toledo Christian at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
