Soccer Recap: La Feria Comes Up Short

La Feria was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Port Isabel Tarpons, falling 3-0. The contest was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Lions struggled afterwards.

La Feria's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Port Isabel, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

La Feria will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Rio Hondo at 7:00 p.m. on February 3rd. Port Isabel has already played their next match (against IDEA Sports Park), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
