Basketball Recap: Martin County Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Martin County faced off against Paintsville on Wednesday. The Martin County Cardinals lost to the Paintsville Tigers on the road by a 61-47 margin. The Cardinals were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 51-49.

Martin County's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Paintsville, their victory bumped their record up to 8-15.

Martin County has already played their next contest, a 54-47 loss against Johnson Central on the 14th. As for Paintsville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 57-41 win against Magoffin County on the 14th.
