Center Point entered their tilt with Heritage Christian on Thursday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Pirates also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2017.

Cobee Beckerson paced Center Point's offense, picking up 12 kills. Beckerson got some help from Kaylani Ritter and her 17 assists. Finally, Ritter was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Center Point's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Heritage Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Center Point will challenge Our Lady of the Hills at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Heritage Christian, they will be taking part in a tournament against Stacey at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
