Basketball Recap: Western Hills Comes Up Short

Western Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 46-24 to the Taft Senators. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Mustangs have suffered against the Senators since December 13, 2021.

Western Hills' loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Taft, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Western Hills will take on Woodward at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Woodward is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.8 points per game this season. As for Taft, they will square off against Hughes at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
