Smithtown East had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the West Babylon Eagles. The Bulls not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since September 10th (when they won 3-0).
Smithtown East never let West Babylon on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-14, 25-23.
Skyla Sullivan paced Smithtown East's offense, picking up 12 kills. Sullivan got some help from Sadie LaPresti and her 19 assists. Sullivan also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Samantha Keil, racking up two apiece.
Smithtown East's victory bumped their record up to 14-1-3. As for West Babylon, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.
