Baseball Recap: Phillips Exeter Academy Takes a Loss

Phillips Exeter Academy lost against Worcester Academy last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Lions fell just short of the Hilltoppers by a score of 7-5. That's two games in a row now that the Lions have lost by exactly two runs.

Phillips Exeter Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Worcester Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Phillips Exeter Academy will take on rival Cushing Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Worcester Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe Deerfield Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
