Soccer Recap: Oxbow Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three contests, Oxbow finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They fell just short of the Hazen Wildcats by a score of 1-0. It was the first time this season that Oxbow let down their fans at home.

Oxbow's loss dropped their record down to 5-3-1. As for Hazen, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2.

Coincidentally, Oxbow and Hazen will both be playing Enosburg Falls the next time they take the pitch. The Olympians will head out to face the Hornets at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Wildcats will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on the 10th.
