St. Helens was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Yamhill-Carlton Tigers and fell 57-19. The matchup marked the Lions' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

St. Helens' loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Yamhill-Carlton, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-4.

St. Helens won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Amity at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Yamhill-Carlton, they will also get right back to it: they'll take on Catlin Gabel at 10:45 a.m. on Friday. One thing working in Catlin Gabel's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups.
