Baseball Recap: Hortonville Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hortonville can now relate to. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hartford Orioles on Monday. The Polar Bears were not able to make up for their defeat to the Orioles from their previous meeting back in March of 2019.

Hortonville's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Hartford, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-7.

Hortonville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hartford, they will challenge Muskego on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Orioles 2.7, the Warriors 2.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
