Baseball Recap: West Seneca East Gets the Win

West Seneca East came out on top against Cheektowaga on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run first inning. The Trojans took their matchup against the Chargers 7-2. The Trojans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Chargers, too.

The team relied heavily on Brady Murdoch, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

West Seneca East's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Cheektowaga, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

West Seneca East will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Williamsville South at 5:00 p.m. on May 6. As for Cheektowaga, they will host Depew at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
